The Department of Mathematics, Physics & Geology at CBU invites applications for an 8-month term position in Mathematics at the rank of Assistant Professor to commence in August 2017 and end in April 2018. Candidates who would be available from December 2017 to August 2018 will also be considered if we are unable to find a suitable candidate who can start in August 2017.
The successful candidate should have a PhD in Mathematics and previous teaching experience. The ideal candidate will be prepared to teach first year Calculus as well as second year Multivariable Calculus.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate potential and commitment with regard to teaching, research/creative/scholarly activities and service to Cape Breton University, community and profession.
