Sheila Christie is an Associate Professor of English. She received her BA and PhD from the University of Alberta, and her MA from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Christie’s research focuses on Medieval Drama, and she teaches in the areas of drama and theatre (specifically stage management and stage craft). Her interests include popular and cultural studies; theories of identity, space, performance, and performativity; and experimental theatre practices. She is currently writing a book on the cultural function of the Chester Play.
