Dr. Peter Kerr is an Assistant Professor of Marketing.  His research focuses on sales and service employee behaviour in the context of marketing strategy implementation and performance.  Prior to joining Cape Breton University he was a part-time instructor at the Goodman School of Management at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario and the owner/manager of a Business Brokerage firm.  He holds a BBA from Brock University, an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and a PhD from Cranfield University in Bedfordshire, England.  Prior to completing his PhD he held senior marketing positions in the financial services and technology sectors with TD Canada Trust, Q9 Networks, Dell Financial Services and Bell Canada where he was Vice-President of Marketing for Bell’s Small & Medium Business division.
