Dr. Jim Gerrie is an Associate Professor of Philosophy. He earned his BA from Mount Allison University, his MA from the University of Guelph, and his PhD from the University of Guelph-McMaster University Joint Doctoral Program. Dr. Gerrie’s research specialization focuses on the Philosophy of Technology and the Philosophy of Religion. His current research incorporates the questions: ‘What is the proper relationship between technology, ethics and public policy?’ And ‘What is the proper role of religion in the modern age and the public sphere?’
