Jim Gerrie

Associate Professor, Philosophy and Religious Studies

Dr. Jim Gerrie earned his BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Mount Allison University, a Philosophy MA from the University of Guelph, and his PhD from the Guelph-McMaster University Joint Doctoral Program in Philosophy. Dr. Gerrie’s research focuses on the Philosophy of Technology and the Philosophy of Religion. His current research considers the questions: �What is the proper relationship between technology, ethics and public policy’� and �What is the proper role of religion in the modern age and the public sphere’�
