Diane Chisholm

Coordinator, Mi'kmaq Resource Centre

Diane has worked at the Mi’kmaq Resource Centre (MRC), a space that exemplifies CBU’s longstanding commitment to Indigenous research, since it first opened in 1998. In that time she has overseen the growth of the MRC’s collection so that it now houses 3,000 books and over 10,000 documents. Diane is available to provide research assistance on-site or through email and telephone requests. She encourages anyone with an interest in Mi’kmaw or Indigenous culture to use the facility, part of the Unama’ki College family here at Cape Breton University.
