Marketing Specialist, Indigenous Affairs

Since 2014, Ann has held multiple different roles throughout the University in relation to marketing and communications to do with Indigenous affairs, both with the Purdy Crawford Chair in Aboriginal Business Studies and Marketing and Communications Departments. Currently, Ann holds the position of Marketing Specialist, Indigenous Affairs in Unama’ki College. Some of the responsibilities of her position are: drafting and executing the marketing and communications strategy for Unama’ki College, as well as implementing the day-to-day marketing activities of the Unama’ki College and CBU, as they relate to Indigenous Affairs. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) from St. Mary’s University with a Major in Marketing, and is currently enrolled in the MBA in Community Economic Development program at CBU. Before coming to CBU, she worked as a Finance Officer for the Membertou Band Council for more than seven years.
