De-Stress Fest 2021

As the end of the Winter 2021 term nears, CBU’s Peer Success Coaches are excited to host another De-Stress Fest as we gear up for our end of term exams. This semester, De-Stress Fest will be a week-long virtual event that will include workshops, tips for de-stressing and helping you prepare for exams, a fun scavenger hunt, and more.

Take part in our Scavenger Hunt all week long via GooseChase! Each activity you complete earns a ballot for a chance to win a total of $400 in prizes. Download the GooseChase App for free and enter the game code (B53JL6) to join in on our week-long De-Stress Fest activities.

Each activity is designed to promote a healthy school/life balance which will help you feel less stressed as you prepare for exams.

GooseChase Instructions:

Students can join in on the Scavenger Hunt by following these simple steps:

  1. Download the GooseChase iOS or Android app from
  2. Choose to play as a guest, or register for a personal account with a username & password
  3. Search by game name or game code to join the game
  4. Follow the prompts to create or select a team, or to create or select an individual player profile.

GooseChase Activity:

  • Share your go-to study space or set-up
  • Share your favorite office / school supply

De-stress Activity of the Day: Get outdoors and practice mindfulness. Here are some ideas:

  • Go for a walk or jog
  • Visit a park
  • Bird watching
  • Blow bubbles and watch them float
  • Outdoor journaling

  • Share your favorite study song / playlist
  • Share a picture from a walk / hike

De-stress Activity of the Day: Socialize (distantly!) and connect with your peers

  • Share your answer to one of our movie questions

De-stress Activity of the Day: Join us for a Virtual Movie Watch Party!

Movie Watch Party

Join your peers at 8:00pm via Zoom to chat while watching a movie on your own device and streaming network. Our Peer Success Coaches will be available to answer questions about what to expect during exam week and what you think about different aspects of the movie.
