WORK STUDY SPRING/SUMMER 2022: Health Center Ambassador

About the Job:

The Health Centre Ambassador will assist Registered Nurses and Counsellors with health promotional activities for the Nancy Dingwall Health and Counselling Centre at Cape Breton University.  Promotional activities will centre around both medical and mental health.

Duties will include:

• Assist with the planning and promotion of activities and events
• Develop resources and communication tools
• Liaise with stakeholders both on-campus and in-community
• Communicate with students, staff and faculty
• Other related duties, as required

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Possess a genuine interest in the medical field
• Ability to plan and organize promotional activities
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work both independently and as part of a service-driven team
