Production and Manufacturing Systems Analyst

 

About the Position:

 

As the Production and Manufacturing Systems Analyst you are a self-motivated team player, willing to take initiative, eager to learn and thinks outside the box for solutions that will assist the company update its processes and procedures to become a more productive and efficient organization.

You would help us implement modern manufacturing processes such and assist with production planning and supply chain management as well as analyzing efficiencies and data management for improving the production process.

 

Work Location:

  • 65 Harbour Drive, Edwardsville, Nova Scotia

  • Hourly Wage $15.00 – $26.00/hour depending on qualifications and experience.

 

Position responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with Internal Audit projects
  • Production planning modernization and supply chain management.
  • Predictive analysis and manufacturing orientated data management.
  • Analysis of efficiencies and implementation of Key Performance Indicators
  • Assist and implement Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives
  • FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for our manufacturing processes and products.
  • Production Control plans and process/document generation and implementation.
  • Data Analysis
  • Research of modern manufacturing processes such as lean manufacturing, Kanban, Kaizen and 5S methodology.
  • Document Review
  • Gap Analysis

Cape Breton Beverages Limited is an independently owned Pepsi bottling franchise. The company has been operating in Cape Breton for over 40-years, and together with its sister company Trans-Atlantic Preforms Limited employs over 100-people in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality. We locally produce Pepsi, 7-Up, Schweppes, and Crush soft-drink products and distribute other beverages including Aquafina, Montellier, Bubly and Evian waters, along with Gatorade, Dole and Rockstar beverages to Cape Breton Island, as well as produce specific packages of Pepsi and other-branded soft-drinks for the rest of Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and Ontario.
