Peer Success Coordinator (Co-op)
Position Description:
The Peer Success Coordinator will work out of CBU’s Advising Centre to provide university transition and success support to students at CBU. They will help students transition to university by providing information on CBU’s programs, services, and resources to ensure students are empowered with access to this knowledge throughout the year.
In addition, the Peer Success Coordinator will:
• Work independently and as part of the CBU’s advising team
• Help students schedule advising appointments
• Greet incoming students and parents and keep appointments operating smoothly
• Maintain ongoing communication with students, academic advisors and university faculty and staff
• Assist with student event planning and promotion
• Teach students how to understand the timetable to create a class schedule
• Teach students to navigate the CBU website, access their CBU email, access their student account, and complete their registration
• Answer phone and email inquiries
• Complete various organizational tasks
Anticipated to be on-campus work, but subject to change to remote work as well.
35 hours per week
$15/hour
16 weeks January – April 2023
