Reserve Mines Seniors & Pensioner Club – 2 Student Positions

Reserve Mines Seniors & Pensioners Club is looking to hire 2 students through the Student Summer Skills Incentive Program.  The first student will be starting on April 19^th, second student will be starting in June. Students must be a grade 12 graduating student attending full time post–secondary studies in the fall or a current post-secondary student resuming their full time studies in the fall and have been a resident of NS for the last six months.   The Seniors & Pensioners Club will be running a meals on wheels program for seniors, which the students will be assisting with as well as other duties.  This is a great opportunity to gain new skills.

Job title:  2 Student Positions Available

Salary:  $14.00 per/ hr

Hours:  35 hrs/wk for 10 weeks

Start Date:  April 19^th & June

Location:  Reserve Mines

Qualification and Credentials:

• Good work ethic
• Kitchen experience an asset
• Reliable and loyal
• Flexible to possibly work weekends if required
• Capable of working outdoor
• Valid Driver’s License is an asset

Key responsibilities & Duties:

• Cleaning and sanitizing internal and external property
• Maintenance and landscaping of building
• Assisting in meal preparation
• Must be flexible to work weekends if required
