Job Title: Career Services Assistant/Program-Community Liaison
Job Description: The successful candidate will work with both the Career Services Team and the Psychology Department. The position will focus on performing employer engagement and research required to build a framework for student work placements for the Certificate in Mental Health Promotion and Protection program. Further, the incumbent will assist Career Services staff with career development-related administrative and program development tasks.
Job Duties:
- Assist with building a framework for community organization/employer and student engagement on behalf of the Certificate in Mental Health Promotion and Protection program
- Perform needs assessment and labour market research
- Engage with employers
- Provide assistance to Career Services Staff with the development of career development programming
- Post student job opportunities
- Enter data into ORBIS platform
- Participate in regular follow-up meetings
Must be enrolled full time and in good academic standing.
