Ross Creek Centre for the Arts is a non profit organization for multidisciplinary arts education and development. Our Summer Arts Camp is a unique fusion of quality arts education with a traditional summer camp environment. Located on 178 acres of farm and forest just outside of Canning, Nova Scotia, the Ross Creek Centre for the Arts provides a natural atmosphere to learn, create and discover. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized leader to join us as our Camp Director for the 2020 camp season. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the arts, love working with kids/mentoring youth and has an invested interest in making the Ross Creek summer camp experience the best EVER! The Camp Director will work closely with the Executive Director and Creative Arts Education Director to both ensure the safety and efficiency of day to day operations of the summer camp programs as well as the training, oversight and evaluation of staff and volunteers. A successful applicant will ideally have previous experience managing an overnight camp program and have strong organizational and communication skills.
