Our Purpose

At Deloitte, we are driven to inspire and help our people, organization, communities, and country to thrive. Our Purpose is to build a better future by accelerating and expanding access to knowledge. Purpose defines who we are and gives us reason to exist as an organization.

By living our Purpose, we will make an impact that matters.

A role with Deloitte Consulting is an opportunity to work on impactful projects, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies as well as analytical and business management skills.

What will your typical day look like?

You will play a pivotal role on a collaborative engagement team with responsibilities including analyzing client issues and interviewing key personnel to developing recommendations and authoring presentations. You will have the opportunity to leverage your professional background and skills by specializing immediately or by gaining exposure to several industries and competencies during your first few years.

You will deliver value to clients by developing integrated strategies to win their chosen markets, architecting data driven programs that transform their business, enabling our clients to grow, shrink, reposition, and fundamentally change the nature of their business through merger and acquisition, divestiture, and restructuring.

About the team

Strategy & Business Design – Monitor Deloitte works with the world’s leading corporations, governments and social organizations to address their most important issues, often working directly with C-suite executives to resolve the highest-order strategic choices that fundamentally affect the future of their organizations. We not only bring our clients the insight and unconventional thinking that help them form strategies to anticipate and respond to change — we also use our experience to bring those strategies to life. As a member of our community, you will work with some of the world’s top strategic thinkers and make a significant impact in shaping the future.

Mergers & Acquisitions – Statistics show that 60% of M&A transactions fail. The M&A Consulting practice exists to help solve this problem. We deliver value to clients throughout their entire M&A journey and support them on what can be one of the biggest challenges of their career. Working collaboratively within integrated, cross-functional teams, our practitioners are involved through all phases of the M&A lifecycle, including strategy, operational readiness, due diligence, pre-and post-close planning and execution, and follow-on transformation. We work across industries to deliver a range of services including defining the vision, strategy, and operating model for business functions; assessing system architecture; process design; business case development; assessment of potential value creation and deal structure; operational and commercial due diligence; and integration/separation planning.
