A key program is the Canadian Coast Guard Officer Training Program. This is a four-year training program and is considered one of the best marine training programs in the world, producing both Marine Engineering Officers and Marine Navigation Officers. The CCGC has a unique opportunity for front desk/hospitality intern, working in a customer facing role representing the college as a front line source of information. |
Hospitality Intern |
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with an interest in hospitality and the behind the scenes action of a thriving college atmosphere. The successful applicant will work with our front desk team in the daily operations of the college, they will receive all guests both internal and external. This will be a wonderful opportunity to develop hospitality skills and to also gain an understanding and build experience working within the public sector. |
Duties |
§ Customer Service- providing excellent customer service to internal (College Staff and OC) and external guests
§ Serve as a front line source of information for all facility users – answer questions and respond to complaints and suggestions § Receives all guests/Clients/ occupants for the college and schedule appropriate rooms § Receive and record maintenance requests, complaints, problems related to room allocation § Receive, screen and route telephone calls § Communicates with all departments of college § Provide clerical support via printer, photocopier, scanner, email § Retrieve and sort mail § Perform general Covid-19 Screening duties as requested |

Essential Qualifications: Students must be enrolled in a Co-op program.
