JOB TITLE: Sales Intern

JOB LOCATION: Halifax Regional Municipality

RATE OF PAY TYPE: Bi-Monthly

HOURS PER WEEK: 40

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a sales intern, you will support our incredible sales team to build business with some of the best marketers and companies in the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build custom decks for prospective customers
  • Identify opportunities within the sales funnel to assist the sales team with additional materials
  • Attend weekly team meetings and take notes to share with the team
  • Ensure the CRM is always up-to-date
  • Work across Demand Generation & Sales teams to track and measure success of targeted outreach campaigns
  • Other tasks and duties as required

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of your internship, you should be able to demonstrate an understanding of:

  • The Sales Process from generating and qualifying leads to on-boarding customers
  • Sales meeting, event preparation and follow up
  • Strategies for achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Strategies top sales people use to achieve their goals
