Atlantic Central is currently accepting applications for a Public Relations Assistant for the summer co-op term.

THE POSITION:
The Public Relations Assistant reports to the Consultant, Communications and Change Management and provides support to the Communications and Change Management Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advance your public relations skills as a key member of the communications and change management department.
LOCATION:
This position offers the ability to work remotely and services Atlantic Canada.
TO JOIN OUR TEAM:
As the ideal candidate you will be working towards completing a degree in Business or Public Relations and have completed at least your second year of study or have prior post-secondary education. You must also be a participant in the university’s Co-op program.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
To be successful as the Public Relations Assistant you possess the following skills:
HOURS OF WORK
This is a 16-week co-op term position with a 37.5 hour work week. Business hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The term for this position is May 13, 2024 to August 30, 2024.
COMPENSATION:
This position will be paid hourly at $23.50 an hour plus vacation pay.
