We also manufacture private label diapers and training pants for North American retailers.  

 

The Sales/Finance Co-op Student Job will be based out of Dieppe, New Brunswick (100 Midland Drive, E1A 7G9) and will play a key role in the evolution of our Finance Centre of Excellence, as we continue to focus on simplification and efficiency in collecting and reporting data in order to free-up time to provide more analytics and insights to the business. We are looking for an individual who is tech savvy, analytically minded and a problem solver. This is a temporary student position.

 

The role will be primarily project focused, including developing and implementing key reporting and analytical tools, and will also assist in the review of monthly results and the evaluation of business opportunities. We are looking for a person who embraces the Irving values, including a passion for driving results, a focus on continuous improvement & innovation and a demonstrated team player.

Job Requirements 

• Education Required: Finance or Accounting Co-op students in good academic standing
• Very good communication and organization skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities
• High energy level with thorough attention to details
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

 

The main duties/responsibilities of this role include: 

• Participate in developing and executing key projects
• First-hand experience within a fast-moving, growing CPG organization
• Participate in monthly actuals and forecast analysis
• Prepare presentations for senior management
• Provide analysis on customer performance
• Prepare customer and product profitability analyses
•  Assist in the preparation of various business cases
