Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic co-op student to join our research team. This individual will conduct experiments and support the development of our sustainable technologies. This is a hands-on role that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful environmental projects and gain valuable industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and conducting laboratory experiments related to nanomaterials, big data and digital technology.
  • Collect and analyze data from experiments to evaluate the performance and efficiency of various technologies.
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Document experimental procedures, observations, and results accurately and systematically.
  • Collaborate with the research team to interpret data and contribute to technical reports and presentations.
  • Support ongoing research projects by conducting literature reviews and staying updated on relevant scientific advancements.
  • Participate in team meetings and present findings to colleagues and stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s (Co-op) or Master’s program in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental research.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with laboratory equipment and experimental procedures.
  • Knowledge of cement and concrete testing practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, R, Python).
