The Municipality of Shelburne is seeking applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of Tax Clerk. This position is being posted internally and externally at the same time.

The Tax Clerk position shall be responsible for the revenue components of the Municipality’s daily operations, including tax billing, invoicing, collection of sewer bills, RMRF, area rates, tax sales, property assessment changes and updates, preauthorized payment arrangements with taxpayers, mortgage payments and reconciliations, low-income tax exemption administration, community group tax exemption policy oversight, as well as financial reporting, policy development and internal control processes for all these areas.
