As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will provide policy development, implementation and evaluation/monitoring for the Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage (CCTH) supporting divisional and corporate priorities. You will develop legislative, regulatory, policy, and process initiatives that that are strategically aligned with government priorities.
You will lead projects and participate in multi-disciplinary, interdepartmental teams of senior staff in the identification and analysis of policy and research options and recommendations related to Nova Scotia’s tourism, arts, heritage, diverse communities and culture.
To be successful in this role you have a bachelor’s degree in plus 5 years of related experience in policy, communications, program planning and development or a master’s degree plus three (3) years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
You will have extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of strategic planning, and policy development. You have experience in coordination of multi-disciplinary teams and will work with partners (including funders), to assist in the identification and analysis of policy options.
