REGISTERED NURSE, U.S.A. – JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE:  Registered Nurse (RN)

REPORTS TO: Director of Nursing (DON)

DEPARTMENT: Nursing

LOCATION: One of several facilities across Colorado, U.S.A.

One of our clients in the U.S., a leading provider of Facilities for Assisted Senior Living in the U.S.A., is looking to hire fully-licensed Registered Nurses from Canada.

REQUIREMENTS:  Successful candidates must meet all these requirements

• Be a Canadian Citizen
• Have a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Canada Fully Vaccinated (Covid)
• Have a current CPR certification
• Have passed the NCLEX exam
• Have a clean background, and be able to pass a Criminal and Professional background check
• Have fluent professional and medical English (Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking)

SKILLS

• Knowledge of computer systems (Point Click Care desirable)
• Working knowledge of long-term care and skilled nursing regulations

• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and standards of care
• Leadership and supervisory skills; willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel
• Patience, tact and a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm as well as willingness to handle difficult people
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served

COMPENSATION:

• Wage: Between USD $30 and $45 per hour, depending on location
• 24 to 36-month contract, renewable
• Signing bonus

• All immigration-related expenses are paid for by the employer (Validation of Credentials, TN Visa, U.S. State Nursing License, etc.). Clearport supports and guides all selected candidates through this process.
• Assistance provided for relocation (finding housing, importing your vehicle, etc.). Clearport assigns each selected candidate a Concierge in Colorado that supports and assists the Nurse with all this.
• Families can accompany selected candidates to the U.S. (spouse, children). Children can attend school in the U.S.
