The Competition Bureau of Canada’s Mergers and Monopolistic Practices Branch is looking for interested and engaged people to join our team of Competition Law Officers. We seek individuals who can work in multi-disciplinary teams and are interested in investigating the impact of mergers and allegations of abuse of dominance and other potentially anti-competitive conduct under the Competition Act. The Bureau’s Competition Law Officers will pool their expertise in performing research and analysis under the Competition Act, preparing requests for information, conducting interviews with market participants, assessing the competitive impact of proposed transactions or alleged conduct, writing reports and making recommendations to senior management.
