Job Overview
Howatt HR is seeking a Junior Digital Content Designer to join our Halifax based team. In this
position you will work closely with our content experts to develop interesting and exciting
ways to convey our message through educational programming. You will help our team
translate our content into effective courses about Workplace Mental Health and
Psychological Health and Safety to be taught to adult learners in corporate settings. The ideal
candidate will be able to work independently, is detail oriented and is committed to
consistently producing high quality products to our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Analyze training needs and develop new training programs and/or improve on existing
programs.
• Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and provide recommendations for
improvement.
• Confer with management to identify training needs based on production processes,
changes, and other factors.
• Selection and use of effective delivery methods to convey the intended message that is
appropriate for the given situation.
• Manage multiple projects independently ensuring timely and effective delivery of services
• Remain up to date on topic and respond effectively to changes and adjustments as
required.
Qualifications
• Degree in Adult Learning, Marketing or Graphic Design.
• Background in Health Sciences or Psychology considered and asset
• 1+ year work experience in content creation
• Experience in course instruction an asset
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong ability to produce different ways to represent content depending on the audience.
• Strong communication skills, bilingual English and French considered an asset.
