Inbound Customer Sales Representative (Work from Home)

 

Fix.com is looking for full-time students for the summer months for our Inbound Customer Sales Representatives role. If you are motivated and passionate about helping others, you are who we are looking for. All we ask is that you bring your excellent customer service sales skills and we will take care of the training and ongoing coaching as you learn the nuts and bolts of our company.

Fix.com is a division of Eldis Group, a proud Maritime based company with its Head Office located in Truro, NS. We have been helping Do It Yourself (DIY) customers repair things in or around their homes since 1945. Fix.com has operated a family of ecommerce websites since 1999 providing parts and know how to its DIY customers that allows them to repair their major appliances, outdoor power equipment and power tools.

Job Summary:

Responsible for promoting and selling Company products and services. Uses a consultative sales approach to ensure our customers receive the best value. Must be customer-focused individuals, able to communicate effectively and display a professional and positive demeanour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establishes rapport and promotes relationships by providing a unique positive experience for each customer through personalizing sales interaction.
• Demonstrates consultative sales techniques by using probing questions, clarifying needs, overcoming objections, and providing solutions that fits the needs of the customer.
• Interacts and communicates collaboratively within the sales group and other groups, as appropriate, to provide a great customer experience.
• Navigates between multiple screens, databases and data entry applications to accurately and quickly capture required information to complete a sale.

Essential Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must have basic computer literacy about software, browser, MS Office, etc.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task multiple systems and navigate the internet quickly and efficiently.
• Must be able to wear telephone headset and manipulate objects such as pen, keyboard, and mouse.
• Strong communications skills both verbally and written

Work from Home Requirements: 

• Quiet workspace that provides privacy and confidentiality
• Wired high speed internet with a  minimum download speed of 20 Mbps

Pay Rate:

• $15 per hour

 

Hours of Work:

This is a full-time role that is shift oriented. We are open seven (7) days a week. Our hours of operation are from 9:00am–11:00pm. You will be required to work some statutory and non-statutory holidays and thus will be paid according to your Provincial Labour Laws.
