We have exciting opportunity for an Advertising Consultant to join our team at 101.5 The Hawk in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. This sales position is responsible for selling radio and digital marketing campaigns to businesses in the local market. You will receive top notch Advertising Consultant Training with ongoing mentoring to enable your success. If you are motivated to succeed, are independent, a creative problem solver, and have a desire to learn and grow in the media business, you may be the right fit for us!

Success will come from:

• Prospecting for new clients through station leads, community connections, and referrals.
• Building relationships with clients, understanding their advertising needs, and developing creative marketing promotions.
• Becoming indispensable to the customer – their success is your success.
• Maintaining acceptable account receivables.

 What we are looking for:

• Someone with a genuine desire to help our clients grow their business.
• Experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service an asset.
• A degree or a diploma from a recognized college or university in sales and marketing would be considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, CRM and Social Media channels such as LinkedIn.
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required.
