As part of the Imperial Oil Nanticoke Refinery Operations department and reporting to the Refinery Shift Supervisor, our Process Operations students operate equipment in accordance with government regulations and refinery practices, procedures and operating guidelines in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner.

As a Process Operations you will join one of our four shift teams and follow the rotating shift schedule. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with and learn from experienced technicians and other groups within the refinery including the maintenance and technical departments. You will be required to complete the progression and training requirements of your division, including the mandatory requirement to obtain the necessary operating engineering certification.

Eligibility to work in Canada
