Description:

Student Affairs is currently hiring student WOW Leaders for positions starting August 26 to September 8, 2024. This is a limited term position to support Week of Welcome activities.

We are looking for WOW Leaders to help us run activities and welcome new students during this fun and action-packed week. As a WOW Leader, you will be an integral part of creating a fun and welcoming environment on campus as we welcome new and returning students back.

Duties:

• Work independently and as part of the WOW Leader team
• Support the transition of new students to the CBU campus community
• Assist with event setup and teardown.
• Provide information to new students about campus services and supports.
• Provide directional support to new students on campus.
• Event support – setup, teardown, duties vary based on specific event.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have started in Winter 2024 or earlier
• Experience supporting student experience is an asset
• Previous experience as a WOW Leader is an asset
• Event experience is an asset
• Must be in good academic standing and good standing under the Student Code of Conduct
