PART-TIME: Online Student Facilitator

The Centre for Teaching and Learning is looking for a student to take on the part-time role of Online Student Facilitator (approximately 5 hours a week) with an expected start date of January 7^th and the end date of April 8^th.

Online Student Facilitators are assigned to teaching faculty who are teaching online for the winter semester. Online Student Facilitators are responsible for supporting faculty and students during online-live classes that use MS Teams.

This role might be for you if you are:

• A current CBU student as of January 2022
• A confident communicator (written and verbal)
• An independent troubleshooter
• Able to think on your feet
• Calm, cool and collected in hectic situations
• Knowledgeable in MS Teams

• Create a short tutorial video (maximum length 3 minutes), using Screencast-o-Matic, QuickTime, or other screen-capture software, explaining and walking the viewer through the use or function of one key Microsoft Teams feature (eg. video meetings or Breakout Rooms)
• Submit a copy of your winter class schedule
