About the Opportunity
Protocase is currently seeking Full-Time Backshift Production & Assembly Team Members in Sydney (Cape Breton), Nova Scotia.
Duties and Responsibilities
Protocase’s production facilities are a busy environment where every order is custom-manufactured from scratch. Our 16,000+ customers around the world are engineers, designers, scientists, researchers and innovators. They depend on Protocase to make professional-grade custom sheet metal and CNC Machined products that meet their specifications, all within our signature 2-3 day manufacturing turnaround time.
In order to meet our stringent quality requirements and on-time targets, we need Production & Assembly Team Members who have a strong attention to detail, are able to follow company procedures and genuinely enjoy taking ownership of their work.

Essential Skills
While we would consider experience in a production facility a major asset, above all else, we are looking for keen people who are highly trainable, can follow procedure and enjoy working in a team environment.
• Education: Completion of high school, some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
• Experience in a professional organization, particularly production/manufacturing, is an asset (we will provide full training)
• Reading and interpreting text and/or 3-D drawings

• Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
About the Benefits
In this role the annual compensation rate, which consists of a base pay and productivity pay, ranges between $39,000.00 $46,000.00 based on a nominal 40-hour week. You will also enjoy the following benefits:
