ABC Takeout – Short Order Cook

ABC Take Out, located in Glace Bay is looking to hire a short-order cook. They are a well-established business who have been in operation for over 26 years are looking to have someone join their team.

Pay Rate – $12.55 per hr

Hours – 26-30 per week

Availability – Must be available to work Saturdays and flexible to work evenings (closed on Sundays)

Qualifications:

• Capable of working in a fast paced environment
• Provide consistent customer service while maintaining a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
• Reliable and punctual
• Works well within a team environment as well as independently

Duties:

• Prepares various menu items using grills and fryers
• Take orders from customers and package food items for take out
• Food prep such as wash, peel and cut vegetables
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
