Accountabilities:

You will work as an active member of Nova Scotia Power’s Communications team to deliver effective customer communications to a variety of audiences over a range of platforms. Duties will include:

  • Execution of customer facing campaigns: Including developing creative brief, reviewing creative and monitoring results
  • Working on the website, with internal teams, to update content to be engaging and informative to deliver the best customer experience.
  • Supporting our social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Planning for special projects
  • Being part of the communications planning and response team during major storms and

    crises

  • Special event planning/execution
  • Media research and analysis

Skills, Capabilities and Experience:

  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail is a must for this role
  • Action oriented, and able to balance and prioritize activities
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong writing skills and organizational skills
  • Collaborative team players with strong communication skills, who build relationships easily
  • Ability to work well with a wide variety of internal stakeholders
