LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATIVE STUDENT JOB – SUMMER 2022 – MIDLAND TRANSPORT

Midland Transport Limited has become a leader in the transportation industry by providing superior quality service to our customers.  Our services include LTL, T/L, Courier Services, and Third-Party Logistics/ Brokerage which provide the convenience of one-stop shipping.

Working with the Systems and Innovations team, the Administrative Summer Student will be responsible for ensuring invoices are processed through our invoicing application (Hubtran) in a timely manner and that our leading-edge TMS (MercuryGate) is up to date.

Qualifications:

• Education Required: Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program – University program preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Able to work within a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to multi-task to ensure that the customers, carriers, vendors, and teammates’ needs are met in a timely fashion.
• Willingness to learn.
• Superior Communication, Organizational and Time Management Skills are required.
• Familiarity with all Microsoft Office Applications
• Mercury Gate or general TMS experience is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and paperwork in Hubtran.
• Adjust MercuryGate if there are discrepancies.
• Support Systems and Innovations Manager with miscellaneous duties.
• Support Admin team with other miscellaneous duties.
