Background:

This Technical Trainer position is suitable for individuals with a background in oil and gas operations and training. As a member of our Training Team, you will be responsible for development, revision and delivery of training materials related to oil, gas and LNG operations. You will be part of a team that creates custom training programs for large energy projects with a focus on safe operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established training company and work with dedicated specialists and Trainees. General Duties:

• Develop and support a safety culture
• Deliver technical content and conduct related labs and exercises
• Create a positive learning environment for you and all participants in programs
• Work effectively with the project team for coordination of delivery
• Evaluate participants and report on grades and progress
• Create, update and review training materials
• Provide updates and reports on training programs and participants
• Perform other training related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated commitment to safety
• Certificate, diploma or degree in a technical or engineering program
• Knowledge and experience in Operations, Maintenance and Safety
• 2 – 5 years experience in oil, gas or LNG process or production operations
• Experience in the development or delivery of training programs
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a professional approach to training
