A Careers in Motion student will work with a dynamic team of engineering professionals within a Transportation and Logistics business unit. We welcome all students with an engineering background to apply – whether it be Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial.

 

Our opportunities range from Mechanical Analysts to Civil Engineering Project Coordinators. Come explore positions such as Operations Support with Atlantic Towing or RST/Sunbury, or roles in fields such as Business Analytics, supporting multiple businesses at the Divisional Level.

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university in an Engineering degree program
  • Self-starter, attention to detail, punctual, consistent, and flexible
  • Goal-oriented, demonstrates initiative, and enjoys working in a team environment
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills and evidence-based decision-making abilities
  • Curiosity, drive for excellence, and a deep interest in engineering
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

 

Student Expectations for Your Work Term

  • Involved with various projects (designing, developing, operating, and maintaining products, equipment, and processes)
  • Use your technical knowledge to carry out engineering tasks such as performing calculations, operating preparing reports, and analytics
  • Hands-on and practical experience
  • Job shadowing opportunities and establishment of mentor relationships
  • Serve as a data and/or analytics resource for initiative-based teams
