What will your typical day look like?

 Within the Expense Management team, you will be reporting to Finance Manager. A Business System Analyst Co-op is an individual contributor responsible for the efficient functioning of the corporate and purchasing card expense, and expense processes. This individual will:

  • Manage and help optimize the Concur system functionality and help implement improvements to make the system more user friendly
  • Manage and monitor travel and expense reimbursement process and recommend changes to users as required
  • Manage and ensure compliance to the travel and expense policy
  • Analyze rejection report and implement corrective action to minimize rejections.
  • Be accountable for the accuracy and completeness of the expenses submitted by the users

 

Within the Accounts Payable team, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager. A Financial Analyst Co-op is an individual contributor responsible for Daily reporting, administrative tasks and project assistance.

  • Manage the daily detective control reporting
  • Assisting in Month end accruals and AP aging reports
  • Analyze and prepare the project status report
  • Prepare and analysis transaction tracker find the root cause of the aged items and then consult with the various department for resolutions
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare the meeting minutes when required

In this role, the expected qualifications are:

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience with major ERP systems (preferred)
  • Strong in written and verbal communication skills, preferably bilingual (FR/EN)
  • Diligence to work independently and in a team, maintaining a high level of professionalism, and a customer service attitude when working with internal clients
  • Ability to understand and carry out specific written and oral instruction, including reconciliations & accruals, and communicating findings with internal users/clients
  • Prepare analyses & reconciliations, presenting findings & suggestions to leaders
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and workflow in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and follow-through in accordance with deadlines and internal client SLA’s
  • Vim, Ariba and ServiceNow knowledge will be an asset.
