As a Supply Chain Intern, you will assist in the flow of goods in and out of Cabot in an organized manner. This includes recording the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and distributing goods to different resort departments accordingly.
Core Accountabilities:
• Work closely with and support Shipping and Receiving Team in the stock house to manage supply chain activities
• Assist with the inventory counts and reconciliation at month end in accordance with inventory procedures
• Ensure received goods are accurately input in the YellowDog inventory management system
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of landing, and shipping orders to route materials
• Complete daily shipping and receiving logs
• Receiving product, ensuring it matches PO’s, and cross referencing with Invoices
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Ensure shipping and receiving area is always maintained in a clean and orderly fashion
• Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
• High school diploma
• Valid drivers’ licence
• Experience with information systems and inventory software an asset (Yellow Dog)
• Communication skills (verbal / written)
• Customer and service focus
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Physical Demands:
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 80+ lbs
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
