Communications Student – Summer 2023

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team in Saint John, NB as a Communications Student for the Summer 2023 Work Term (May–August).

This is the Right Work Term for You if You Have:

• Education Required:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Public Relations, or Bachelor of Arts, Journalism, and or Business Administration degree program
  • In good academic standing
• Highly interested in social media strategy and trends
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and take initiative in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience with Canva and the Microsoft Suite
• Long-term interest in marketing, communications, and public relations

 

What You Can Expect From Your Work Term:

You will get a hands-on work term immersed in the communications, events, and public relations activities of the Pulp & Paper Division. Tasks may include:

• Assist with the development and coordination of internal communications and initiatives
• Create and write compelling content to post on our social media channels and website
• Organizing on-site events at our various operations
• Manage divisional photo library
• Participate in special projects as required
