Position: Junior Associate, Investor Operations (Co-op position)

administration, middle-office outsourcing, custody, foreign exchange, trustee services and depository
to securities lending and other banking services.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a growing industry in Halifax.

Core responsibilities:
• Processing investor capital transaction requests (subscriptions/redemptions/transfers) and
ensuring that these are in compliance with the relevant legislation, agreements and charters
• Processing transactions in accordance with the guidelines outlined in fund offering documents,
with attention to proper procedures and deadlines
• Processing of wire payments and account transfer transactions through various banking
platforms to settle redemptions, payment of client invoices and/or of fees
• Ensuring fund and investor related queries are handled in a timely manner
• Preparing periodic fund activity reports for submission to relevant authorities
• Participating in project based work and other duties as assigned

Key Requirements:
• A co-op university student, in good academic standing, currently pursuing an accounting,
finance or economic major
• Demonstrate an ability to multi-task, exercise initiative and work effectively within a team
environment
• Possess strong PC-based experience, data management, and administrative support skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate a diligent and methodical approach to tasks.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Compensation

This role earns an hourly wage of $17.00CAD, working 37.5 hours per week. This is a 16 week co-op
position.

Start Date – January 9, 2023
End Date – April 28, 2023
