Free seasonal staff accommodation is available from April to October and is conveniently located steps away from work. We are currently hiring a Laundry Attendant for a year-round full-time position.
Job Description
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the resort.

Duties include but are not limited to sorting, washing, drying, folding, stain treating and storing linens according to the resorts’ standard; cleaning and checking the washers and dryers and making sure they are all properly running and reporting any deficiencies to Maintenance or management; ensuring there is enough laundry chemicals and replacing when needed; filling all Housekeeping cleaning supplies and making sure labels are legible; safe handling of chemicals and cleaning products; adhering to safety procedures at all times; assisting with keeping the Recreation Centre clean; assisting in some office work whenever necessary.

The applicant must be able to on weekends and on statutory holidays (from Thursday through Monday).

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

The Laundry attendant must possess the following knowledge and skills:

• must be proactive, flexible, and able to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
• responsibilities will be performed with an eye for detail in a timely manner;
• must have the ability to follow direction and standards set by the Resort;
• this position requires standing, sitting, walking, lifting, reaching, comprehension, learning, problem solving, and

  interacting with others throughout the workday;

• multitasking in an environment with many distractions is a must;
• repetitive motions for an extended duration of time are required.
