BHTM Summer 2022 Internship/Summer Employment – Housekeeping – Keltic Lodge – Ingonish, NS

As a room attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring to provide the highest level of cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, etc.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform housekeeping duties including dusting vacuuming, mopping, cleaning washrooms, removing garbage, replacing amenities, changing sheets and towels
• Clean all assigned guest rooms to expected standards
• Fold and sort linens
• Maintain a clean and organized work area including maid carts, laundry closets, etc.
• Assist and interact with guests
• Frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing less than or equal to 50 lbs
• Frequent keeling, pushing, and pulling
• Reporting any problems or questions to immediate supervisor

Schedule

• 8- hour shift
• 5 days per week
• 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
