Position Overview
As the Halfway Hut/Beverage Cart Attendant at Cabot you will have the wonderful opportunity to meet all guests and enhance their experience by providing friendly and prompt food, and beverage service on the golf course. Your warm and friendly manner enhances the incredible memories they are creating on the golf course. Extensive knowledge of all food and beverage offerings allows you to personalize the experience for guests and promote Cabot specialty items that will enhance their stay. You are professional, personable, and proud to represent the Cabot brand, and proactively act as an ambassador and role model of exceptional service.

  • Efficient and proactive organization skills.
  • Prepare menu items, safely and correctly operate all equipment.
  • Complete all sales transactions in an accurate manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public restrooms and replenish products as needed.
  • Ensure the server station and surrounding area is clean and tidy.
  • Comply with proper security, fire regulation, and all health and safety policies.
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Assist in packing and/or unpacking inventory, arranging, and displaying merchandise.
  • Assist with inventory at month end in accordance with inventory procedures.
  • Willing to work in multiple or various outlets as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food and beverage an asset.
  • Serve Right certification recommended.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Nova Scotia (19)

 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, reaching.
  • Exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 lbs of force frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects.
  • Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps.
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
