Job Intro

As the assistant manager you will be an integral part of our business. You will quickly become one of the faces of our brand. In this position you will be required to provide customer service as well as provide various administrative duties such as creating daily sales report. This job will require you to be able to work well under pressure as some cruise ship days see thousands of people through the doors. We are looking for a team player, who works well with others, is personable and has pride in there work performance.

Typical Work Day

Daily tasks would included

– creating social media content and post

– dealing with the public, promoting and selling products

– providing customer service

– cleaning the shop at beginning, middle and end of day

– producing daily sales reports

– restocking products after they are sold

– packing orders as they come in

Company Overview

At the Cape Breton Beard Factory we hand make all of our products using all natural products. We sell those products both online on our website and in-store at our shop located at the Sydney Port. We also wholesale to over 30 shops across Canada. Job requires retail/sales experience, someone who is personable and able to work well under pressure. With 250000+ cruise ship passengers due to come through the doors this season, there will be many busy days in the shop, this position will help employees learn to work in a fast pasted environment.

Potential employee will need to have an understand of social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook as well as basic internet functions including word, excel, etc. Potential employee will need to be organized as they will be required to produce daily/weekly/monthly sales reports using our Square system
