 What will your typical day look like?

Deloitte works with clients to turn their net-zero promises into meaningful action. Helping clients to become low-carbon organizations and reach their sustainability potential is critical to meeting Canada’s climate commitments. The Centre for Sustainability and Climate Action team at Deloitte has set out to help our clients navigate their climate change journey. The team will be focusing on four key platforms and associated initiatives over the next 12 months.

You will support the roll out and monitoring of our sustainability and climate action strategy and initiatives, including:

  • Assist the team in coordinating and preparing for recurring leadership meetings and updates
  • Assist the team in gathering and analyzing data related to our sales and pipeline
  • Support the team in building and facilitating strategic relationships across our member firm network
  • Coordination with our marketing team on eminence initiatives including thought leadership and key events
  • Coordinate internal communications including bi-monthly newsletters and key news updates
  • Coordinate with our global team on the learning and growth climate curriculum
  • Coordinate with our other climate related platforms including WorldClimate and Green Champions Network
  • Gather participation and impact data from industry and service line groups
  • Use your own knowledge and skills to support the team to a high standard!

About the team

The team includes leaders from all service lines and industries in both Canada and Chile coming together to strategize, define, develop, and monitor how we support our clients in their journey. Together with our team and the large community interested in climate and sustainability, we are focused on raising awareness, defining how we go to market and improving skills of our people.

You are someone who is:

  • Enrolled in a post secondary program such as business, commerce, arts, humanities, corporate responsibility, sustainability or any other relevant programs
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good time management, responsiveness and able to navigate ambiguity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly with a can-do attitude
  • A team player and able to work effectively in a team, and in a virtual environment
  • Strong in MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
