Theatre Research Assistant
The successful candidate will compile and organize data from 2021-2022 theatre research projects, help to build a database of community partners for research, and provide administrative support related to a proposed devised theatre project in the summer.
Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, good work ethic, and capacities for initiative and problem-solving. Candidates should possess strengths in data analysis and organization, and they should be interested in research creation as a mode of inquiry. Candidates with experience in theatre, event management, and/or database development will be preferred.
This position compensates 30 hours/week for 6 weeks at a rate of $13.35/hour. While timing is somewhat flexible, the successful candidate should maintain regular work hours and be available for meetings on campus. The successful candidate will track hours and report weekly on progress in set tasks.
