African Canadian Student Coordinator
Working with the Student Development Officer for students of African Nova Scotian and Canadian Descent, to help promote the program and develop a sense of community as well as running meetings and working with the African Nova Scotian communities.
Assist the Student Development officer for African Nova Scotian and Canadian decent promote and implement programming
Assist with the start up and organization of group meetings
Connect with African Nova Scotian/African Canadian students that attend Cape Breton University
Maintain ongoing communication with students
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preference will be given to students of African Nova Scotian/African Canadian descent.
Cape Breton University’s Work Study program is an on-campus employment program open to full time, current/returning students who are in good academic standing.
