Work Study: Campus Recreation Assistant (4 Positions)

Job Description:

Athletics and Student Life Services encompass the Field House & CBHRC Dome Athletic Facilities, varsity athletics, intramurals, and clubs. Reporting to the Coordinator: Varsity Athletics & Recreation, the incumbent will implement and supervise recreational programs and project initiatives to enrich the student experience and maintain an integrated approach to support student recreation and wellness programs

Qualifications:

• Students from any academic background are encouraged to apply.
• Looking for students with 1-3 years of relevant experience working in Recreation with supervision experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task effectively are required.
• The successful candidate will be experienced in supervising recreation events, possess the ability to work independently, but thrive in a team environment.
• Required to have, or willing to obtain, Standard First Aid certifications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Supervise intramural and other events in the Field House.
• Manage the Field House front desk area including payments and rental fees
• Track participants in Field House events.
• Take inventory of and manage the distribution of Field House equipment
• Help promote all Campus Recreation Events
