You will be responsible as the primary writer, editor and layout coordinator of NSP’s weekly internal employee newsletter; supporting our social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram); planning communications for special projects; planning/executing special events; providing media research and analysis; being part of the communications response team during major storms and crises.
You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers, by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.

Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:

You must be working towards a Public Relations degree and have completed the first two years of your degree.
You have the ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to a fast-paced environment; strong writing skills and organizational skills; ability to work well with a wide variety of internal stakeholders; experience with Photoshop and InDesign is considered an asset; experience designing infographics and doing simple video-editing is considered an asset.

Reports to: Manager, Internal Communications

Salary: To commensurate with qualifications and experience
