Are you looking for a full-time job this summer?  Perhaps a part-time job while you attend university and help with tuition? Well the Canadian Armed Forces has a great opportunity for you!

The Canadian Armed Forces Army Reserve will be holding a virtual information session for CBU students during collaborative time on Tuesday 22 March 2022 starting at 11:45 am that is expected to last approximately 30-45 minutes. Students are invited to join the MS Teams meetings through the link below to explore opportunities available here in Sydney!

The Army Reserve provides paid training to its part-time soldiers in various fields including Engineering, Communications, Health Services, Logistics, and Combat Arms.  Skills learned in the Army Reserve such as teamwork, leadership, time-management, problem solving and performance under stress will fill your resume making you workplace ready, setting you apart from your competition! There is no contract in the Army Reserve, but the work and training schedule is normally one evening per week and one or two weekends per month during the academic year (September to May.) Army Reservists  can access Full-Time Summer Employment (FTSE) from May 1st to September 1st each of their first four years or a lesser amount of time depending on their availability; the minimum for a full summer starts at $12,500 to $14,500. Army Reservists in qualified post-secondary education programs can receive up to $2000.00 in education reimbursements per academic year!
